Kevin Depper
Kevin started his accountancy career in 1998 after leaving College. Initially, training with a small two partner firm before moving to a six partner firm in 2001. During that time Kevin gained a wide variety of experience in all aspects of accountancy.
Kevin joined Hartley Fowler in 2007 as an Accounts and Audit Senior. Early on he carried out some of the statutory audits before taking on most of the offices management accounts. Kevin worked with sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and also undertook a great deal of solicitors and other compliance work.
Kevin was promoted to the role of Accounts Manager in December 2012. He is now responsible for a diverse selection of businesses in the office, including solicitors and owner-managed businesses. Kevin is extremely competent in IT and enjoys using this expertise to help businesses update their internal accounting systems by automating manual procedures and develop bespoke financial reports.
With the wide range of cloud and desktop accounting software on the market, Kevin also focuses on helping businesses make the right choices when it comes to accounting software and add-ons for each business.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys playing golf, albeit badly at times around the south east at wide range of courses. He also used to take part in several other sports until injury forced him into early retirement.
