Ian Wood
Ian was born in Brighton and has lived all his life in Sussex. He left education having attended Hove Grammar School for Boys. His first significant employment was with the Inland Revenue which he left in October 1980 before joining Hartley Fowler.
Since 1980 Ian has worked in the firm’s tax department as a junior, senior and then manager. Ian is responsible for most aspects of personal tax and business and company compliance.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys reading, cricket (although he no longer plays), music, cinema, theatre, concert going and dining out. Ian has a wife, two grown up children and a granddaughter all of whom he enjoys spending time with.
