Hartley Fowler Newsletter – June 2019
Welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter!
As the weather is finally improving and everyone is looking forward to their summer holidays, we are excited to share our company news with you.
With our 50th year in business approaching, we are sad to report the passing of Maurice Fowler, one of the founders of Hartley Fowler. Maurice was instrumental in first bringing computers into the business in 1985, and our commitment to embracing tech and digitisation has continued ever since.
Big data remains a hot topic in the industry. In May, Kevin attended the Xero Roadshow in Brighton and Peter had a meeting with Microsoft to discuss how the use of AI and intelligent data will impact on the accountancy profession.
Our series of seminars for small business owners has kicked off, and we look forward to further developing the resources we offer to our local business contacts. There are still tickets available for our upcoming Brighton seminar.
Best regards,
Peter Collins
